Job Title: Intern Data Analyst - Group HSE

Job Purpose

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven Power BI & Data Analytics Intern to join the Group HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) team at DP World.

This role is ideal for candidates with hands‑on experience in Power BI and a strong foundation in data analysis, who are eager to contribute to data-driven decision-making in a global organization.

The intern will support the development of dashboards, enhance reporting capabilities, and assist in documenting system functionalities to improve operational visibility, reporting efficiency, and HSE performance monitoring.

Key Accountabilities

Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
Analyze HSE data using Excel and other analytical tools to identify trends and insights
Support the design and automation of reporting processes
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into effective visual dashboards
Assist in system and reporting documentation, including features, functionalities, and user guides
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reports
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the HSE reporting and analytics framework

Qualifications and Experience

Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
Hands‑on experience with Power BI (academic, internship, or professional projects), including basic data modeling and DAX
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, formulas, pivot tables)
Basic knowledge of SQL or data querying concepts
Experience in documenting systems or processes is an advantage
Basic understanding or exposure to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) data or reporting is a plus
Exposure to working with multiple data sources (e.g., databases, APIs) is an added advantage

Skills

Familiarity with data visualization best practices
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
