Job Description

HII – Mission Technologies is seeking a Data Analyst to utilize Microsoft Power BI software platforms to develop automated data streams from current databases to new platforms as well as build individualized dashboards to reflect data trends and analysis on specific processes. This person should be highly skilled in all aspects of Power BI software and Microsoft Excel. Individual must be committed to transforming data in readable, goal-oriented reports that drive innovation and growth.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain leading-edge Power BI dashboards, taking complicated data sources and building automated data streams

• Construct Power BI dashboard prototypes in a compressed timeline

• Develop a comprehensive Data Map to identify the most efficient path to connect the data sources and achieve repeatable automation effects on the Power BI dashboards

• Manages all aspects of end-to-end data processing utilizing customized report-building functions of systems in Microsoft Excel and Power BI

• Develop tools for importing data from disparate databases to ensure data feed utility and compatibility with mission partner capabilities

• Create Power BI automated visual products accessible in Microsoft Teams and Share Point

• Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, and develop and maintain protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data

• Work directly with managers and users to gather requirements, provide status updates, and build relationships

• Communicate effectively and take initiative to troubleshoot technical problems with formulas, slicers and data sources

Minimum Qualifications

• 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.

• Exceptional proven experience with building and implementing Power BI dashboards to integrate in Share

Point and MS Teams.

• Highly Proficient with using Microsoft Power BI application and Share

Point.

• Have extraordinary communication skills.

• Experience with connecting Microsoft Excel to Power BI dashboards with repeatable automation.
