Job Summary:

Phoenix Energy is seeking a BI Developer / Analyst to lead the development of business intelligence solutions and analytics across operations, minerals, and financial performance. This role is responsible for designing dashboards, developing business-critical metrics, and structuring datasets for scalable analytics. The ideal candidate brings strong BI development experience, solid SQL skills, and the ability to translate complex data into decision-ready insights.

Responsibilities:

• BI ownership and development

• Advanced analytics and KPI development

• Data modeling for BI

• SQL and backend development (moderate)

• Azure and pipeline integration

• Business partnership

• Mentorship

Skills:

• Strong experience with BI tools (Spotfire preferred)

• Strong SQL skills (joins, aggregations, performance tuning awareness)

• Experience working with business stakeholders

• Understanding of data modeling concepts

• Python or advanced manipulation

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of experience in BI, analytics, or data development roles

• Bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Engineering or related field

• Experience with Azure data environment

• Familiarity with Git or Azure Dev

Ops

• Familiarity with the decline curves, downtime coding workflows, artificial lift, or completions datasets

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
