Following a recent acquisition by Christeyns, the business is entering an exciting phase of growth with a strong focus on improving systems, reporting, and data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Business Intelligence & Systems Analyst to take ownership of reporting, business insight, and key operational systems across the company.

This is a high-impact role where you will work directly with the Managing Director to improve reporting visibility, streamline processes, and help drive better business decisions through data.

You will work across ERP, reporting, and sales systems, building dashboards and meaningful insights for departments including Sales, Finance, Operations, and Production.

The role also involves coordinating with external technology partners to ensure systems are configured correctly and aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain business reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking tools

• Analyse operational, sales, and financial data to identify trends and business insights

• Improve reporting visibility across departments including Sales, Finance, Operations, and Production

• Replace manual spreadsheet reporting with automated system-driven outputs where possible

• Work with ERP and reporting systems including Sage X3 and Sage Enterprise Intelligence (SEI)

• Support integration and consistency of data across multiple business systems

• Work with external IT and software providers to ensure systems are configured and functioning correctly

• Assist with improving business processes through better use of systems and reporting tools

• Help drive a more data-driven culture across the business

• Support future BI, automation, and AI-related initiatives

Requirements Essential

• Degree or diploma in Information Systems, Business, Data Analytics, or similar

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency

• Exposure to ERP systems such as Sage, SAP, Syspro, Accpac, or similar

• Experience working with reporting or BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Sage SEI, or similar

• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Self-motivated and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities

Advantageous

• Experience with Sage X3 or Sage Enterprise Intelligence (SEI)

• Exposure to CRM or field sales platforms such as Skynamo or Salesforce

• Basic SQL, Python, VBA, or automation skills

• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or FMCG environments

• Exposure to AI tools such as ChatGPT or Copilot in a business context
