Lead Software Engineer (Python)

We are looking for Lead Software Engineer (Python) who will:

• Design and develop advanced backend services using Python and FastAPI.

• Lead the deployment of scalable and secure applications with Kubernetes.

• Architect and manage complex databases using PostgreSQL.

• Guide and mentor junior developers in best practices and coding standards.

• Oversee the integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic

• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine backend features and drive product vision.

• Ensure the creation of robust and effective Dev

Ops processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field.

• 7+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong proficiency in Python.

• Expertise in FastAPI, with substantial experience in developing and scaling applications.

• Advanced skills in database design and management with PostgreSQL.

• Experience with PostgreSQL’s geographic data capabilities, such as PostGIS. Familiarity with spatial and geographic data processing in PostgreSQL.

• Leadership skills and experience mentoring other developers.

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.

• Familiar with various project management methodologies such as Agile, Lean

• Fluently in English communication and written
