Front End Developer Intern

About the Company : Medikloud is an AI-powered Hospital Management System (HMS) SaaS platform that streamlines hospital workflows through intelligent automation and modern digital solutions.

About the Role : As a Front End Developer Intern at Medikloud, you will work closely with product designers, backend engineers, and AI teams to develop intuitive, responsive, and scalable user interfaces. This role provides hands-on experience in building production-grade SaaS applications using modern frontend technologies, standardized design systems, and automated development workflows.

Responsibilities :

• Develop responsive and high-quality user interfaces using React and Next.js.

• Build and maintain modern UI components using Tailwind CSS and global styling standards.

• Implement Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and Client-Side Rendering (CSR) for optimized performance and SEO.

• Translate Figma designs into production-ready interfaces with a strong focus on usability and accessibility.

• Enhance and modernize existing web pages using contemporary UI/UX practices.

• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and ensure seamless data flow.

• Implement state management using tools such as Redux, Context API, or Zustand.

• Optimize applications through lazy loading, image optimization, and performance best practices.

• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness across platforms.

• Contribute to and maintain standardized design systems, typography, and reusable components.

• Improve UI/UX across company websites, SaaS products, and digital platforms.

• Implement robust form handling and validations, including structured input and phone number validation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions.

• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications :

• Pursuing a B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Java

Script, and Type

Script.

• Hands-on experience with React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS.

• Understanding of SSR, CSR, and modern frontend architectures.

• Familiarity with state management tools such as Redux, Context API, or Zustand.

• Experience integrating RESTful APIs into frontend applications.

• Strong understanding of responsive design, modern UI/UX principles, and accessibility.

• Knowledge of design systems, typography, and reusable component development.

• Experience with Tailwind CSS configuration and global styling practices.

• Familiarity with performance optimization techniques such as lazy loading and image optimization.

• Understanding of SEO best practices and web performance metrics.

• Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.

• Experience with Figma or similar design tools.

• Exposure to deployment platforms such as Vercel is a plus.

• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools (Cursor, Replit, Windsurf, Git

Hub Copilot, etc.) is an added advantage.

Pay range and compensation package : Full-time is preferred. Outstanding interns will receive a Letter of Recommendation and a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO).
