Summary:
Seeking a Back-End Developer skilled in Java, database management, and RESTful APIs for payment platforms. Must collaborate well and ensure secure, scalable systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop and maintain server-side applications and APIs for our payment gateway platform.
Work with the frontend development team to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Implement and manage secure, scalable, and high-performance backend services.
Develop and optimize database schemas and queries to ensure efficient data handling and retrieval.
Ensure system reliability by monitoring, debugging, and troubleshooting issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our backend systems.
Implement and maintain security best practices to safeguard sensitive payment information.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience as a Back-End Developer with a strong understanding of server-side technologies.
Proficiency in Java and/or more backend programming languages such as Python, Ruby, Node.js, or PHP.
Experience with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar.
Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
Familiarity with cloud services and infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Knowledge of payment processing systems and security standards (PCI-DSS) is a plus.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
