Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline AND 2 years of related professional/military experience in Software Engineering to include a background in the agile development lifecycle, OR a Master’s degree to include a background in agile development lifecycle, OR a Ph.D.

• Experience with at least one object-oriented programming language (Java, Java

Script, C++, C#, Python, Swift) and software development lifecycle

• Must have experience with one of the following change management tracking system tools: Jira, Clear

Quest, Asana

• Must have experience with one of the following configuration management systems: GIT, Git

Lab, Git

Hub, Bitbucket, Subversion

• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Interim Secret clearance

• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud technology (AWS, VMWare, Azure, Kubernetes)

• Experience with developing software using agile processes (Kanban, Scrum, Scrumban)

• Knowledge of software metrics

• Experience with configuration of virtual machines (VMs) and virtual networks (VPC, NSX-T, NSX-V)

• Experience with static, dynamic code analysis

• Experience with operation of cyber remediation and Risk Management Framework (RMF)

• Certification from VMWare, AWS, or Cisco is desired

• Active Secret DoD Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance

• Current Special Access Program (SAP) clearance

Pay Ranges by Location:

Florida $79,300 - $118,900

California: $91,800 - $137,600

Primary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $137,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
