The Software Engineer - Dev
Ops Role
As a Software Enginer - Dev
Ops in the Platform Engineering team, we build a Kubernetes-based platform on AWS that enables R&D to work in a 'production-like' environment, develop, test, and ship faster. We design and operate SaaS delivery pipelines end-to-end, using Git-based workflows and AI-assisted tools to automate build, test, and deployment of containerized services.
You will be part of a critical team focused on developing and maintaining CI/CD solutions for development and SRE teams, leveraging cloud-native technologies, automation, and emerging AI capabilities in the AWS ecosystem. We are building the next generation of intelligent pipelines toward a scalable SaaS platform, aiming to improve efficiency across the organization through automation, self-service, and data-driven insights.
It is an exciting time to join the team as we are designing new internal processes, experimenting with AI-driven developer productivity tools, and running POCs on modern platform engineering solutions.
We believe in and support a healthy work-life balance by enabling flexible work arrangements. Each team member can play to their strengths while learning, contributing, and growing as part of a collaborative team.
Here's how you'll be making an impact:
Building, maintaining, and improving CI/CD pipelines for our SaaS platform in AWS.
Applying AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude) to speed up development and automation tasks.
Operating and enhancing a scalable 'production-like' environment for development and QA teams.
Collaborating with developers and SREs to support reliable and efficient deployments.
Collaborating directly with product teams to improve how they build, test, and ship.
Identifying friction in developer workflows and fix it with automation and better tooling.
Acting as a day-to-day point of contact between platform and engineering teams.
Balancing speed, reliability, and security in practical implementations.
We're looking for a teammate with:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Hands-on automation and scripting experience.
Experience improving developer workflows and tooling.
Infrastructure as code (Terraform, Pulumi, Crossplane).
Hands-on experience with Git
Hub Actions, workflows and Git
Ops tools (ArgoCD).
Experience working with product and engineering teams.
Familiarity with AI/ML or automation tools in development workflows (advantage).
Experience with observability, monitoring, and reliability engineering practices.
Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native systems.
Experience working with AWS.
Practical experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude).
Good understanding of Git
Ops and CI/CD practices.
Good communication skills and ability to work across teams.
Acting as a bridge between platform and developers.
Programming/scripting skills (Typescript, Go, etc.) with JSON/YAML.
