Ops Engineer (GCP)

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Dev

Ops Engineer (GCP) to join our team, working onsite at Sohna - Gurgaon Road.

📆 Contract Duration: 4 months (extendable)

🏢 Work Arrangement: Work From Office (WFO)

⏰ Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (IST)

📍 Location: Sohna - Gurgaon Road (Sector 68, Gurugram, Haryana 122101)

⚡ Availability: Immediate joiners preferred

🎓 Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Dev

Ops Engineer working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Strong hands-on experience with core GCP services including GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, VPC, Load Balancing, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, and Pub/Sub

• Proven ability to design, deploy, and manage production-grade workloads on GCP

• Experience in architecting secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions using GCP-native services

• Hands-on experience in infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform

• Strong experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Git

• Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration via Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)

• Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automated testing frameworks, and deployment best practices

• Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Google Cloud Observability or Grafana

• Strong foundation in cloud security (IAM, VPC Service Controls), performance optimization, backend development (e.g., Python), and software engineering best practices including code reviews and maintainability

🔧Key Responsibilities

• Design, provision, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform

• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git

• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)

• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Google Cloud Observability and Grafana

• Continuously monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency

• Enforce cloud security best practices, including IAM, VPC Service Controls, and network security policies

• Architect and implement secure, scalable, and highly available applications and data pipelines on GCP

• Act as the primary technical decision-maker, evaluating trade-offs and selecting appropriate architectures and tools

• Collaborate with Project Managers, Business stakeholders, and Solution Architects to translate requirements into technical solutions

• Develop system components, APIs, and complex integrations to support business needs

• Establish and enforce software development best practices, including code quality and maintainability

• Conduct peer code reviews to ensure high development standards

• Oversee CI/CD implementation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automated testing frameworks

• Identify and resolve technical challenges and roadblocks to ensure timely delivery

• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and coaching to junior and mid-level engineers
