Ops Engineer to join our fully remote, internationally distributed team.
This role is central to ensuring the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of our mission-critical platforms. As part of our technology team, you will work closely with engineers, product teams, and leadership to design, deploy, and optimise the infrastructure that drives our products. You’ll play a key part in shaping our operational landscape, championing automation, and ensuring seamless delivery across the business.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Experience in managing Linux based infrastructure.
Hands-on experience with databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, Mongo), automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible), CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis, Git
Lab CI), orchestration & containerization tools (Kubernetes, Docker)
Knowledge of deploying Node.js based applications.
Ability to use various tools to orchestrate solutions with a focus on plain Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform
Ability to deploy / maintain independent web-based tools, microservices and solutions with a focus on Kubernetes, Docker, NodeJS, Prometheus
Ability to deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters, including monitoring, using RKE and Ansible
Ability to write Helm Charts used to integrate many components to create a software solution. This includes incorporating technologies such as Crunchy PGO, MongoDB, Traefik, proprietary software packages, etc.
Experience in writing scripts and automation using NodeJS/Python/Bash
Experience managing a virtualized infrastructure based on Xen
Server with Ubuntu guests
Lab CI and implement Git
Ops
Bonus points: Ability to deploy, configure and manage data streaming services like Kafka, RabbitMQ etc.
Bonus points: Ability to deploy, configure and manage data visualization services like Grafana, Apache Superset
