As a Cloud SRE, you will work as part of a team to provide the 24/7, 365-day support for a Tier-1 Client. You will handle triage, classification, and initial resolution of incidents while being mentored by senior specialists to hard skill into a Platform Engineer. You will ensure the continuous operation of custom-built applications through observability, proactive health monitoring, and overnight callout procedures.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Provide a single point of contact for all in-scope applications via ITSM, phone bridge, and messaging platforms.

• Triage, classify, and prioritize incidents in accordance with the Bank's incident management framework.

• Perform daily monitoring and execution oversight of batch job schedules.

• Manage deployment pipeline operations, including CI/CD tooling and release coordination.

• Conduct application health monitoring, log analysis, and performance management.

• Execute overnight callout procedures, including shift handovers and environmental health summaries.

• Adhere to strict SLA response times for incidents and overnight callouts.

• Maintain and update runbooks for all batch and pipeline processes to ensure documentation uplift during the transition period.

• Lead proactive user communication and status updates during major incidents.

Basic Qualifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer– Associate.

• 3+ years of experience operating portfolios of custom-built applications.

• Familiarity with observability stacks such as Datadog or Prometheus/Grafana.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of CI/CD and Dev

Ops tooling like Git

Hub Actions or Terraform.

• Experience maintaining knowledge bases and known error databases for first contact resolution.
