The Role

As a key technical strategist, you will provide expert guidance in analyzing complex systems while planning, designing, assessing, and selecting operating systems and communication protocols. You will collaborate with different teams to resolve interoperability issues across all platforms and ensure the implementation of technical solutions derived from varied client environments. Additionally, you will consult on advances in system technologies.

Location

This is a remote position within the US.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain insightful dashboards and reports for monitoring cloud costs.

• Establish and uphold tagging standards and cost allocation policies, ensuring every resource is tagged monthly.

• Automate cost management functions and integrate Fin

Ops tools within CI/CD processes.

• Act as a Flexera One CCO administrator.

• Proactively manage and maintain server systems.

• Administer and support essential Microsoft technologies.

• Administer and support key Citrix technologies.

• Create and execute project plans, risk assessments, and contingency plans.

• Define and document best practices along with support processes.

• Ensure continuous 24/7/365 monitoring and availability of systems, with on-site presence if necessary.

• Mentor team members in both existing and new technologies.

• Complete special projects as directed by Management.

• Engage in the team’s on-call support rotation.

Desired Qualifications

• 5+ years of overall experience with at least 2 years specifically as a Fin

Ops engineer.

• A solid understanding of cloud platforms and their pricing structures.

• In-depth knowledge of cloud-native cost management tools and Flexera One Cloud Cost Optimization.

• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).

• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Power

Shell) for automation purposes.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Fin

Ops Certified Engineer or similar credential.

• Experience in Dev

Ops or Cloud Engineering roles.

• Willingness to travel 1-2 times a year for workshops.

Compensation

This role offers a competitive salary range based on current national data, which may vary based on location. Compensation is determined by skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Location-Based Pay Ranges:

$132,232 - $176,310 in certain states; $138,844 - $185,124 in others; $145,456 - $193,940 in specific high-demand areas.
