Cloud Computing Cloud Engineer

Job Description:

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS.

• Manage and optimize AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Cloud

Watch, and related services.

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.

• Automate cloud provisioning, deployments, and operational processes.

• Build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support infrastructure and application deployments.

• Monitor cloud environments, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure system uptime, reliability, and performance.

• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to implement cloud security best practices and governance controls.

• Support infrastructure operations, system upgrades, patching, and performance tuning activities.

• Work closely with development and application teams to support cloud integration and deployment requirements.

• Participate actively in Dev

Ops initiatives and continuously improve operational workflows and automation practices.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for cloud architectures, procedures, and operational processes.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or Dev

Ops environments.

• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, Route53, and Cloud

Watch.

• Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Experience in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git

Lab CI/CD, Azure Dev

Ops, or similar platforms.

• Good understanding of IT infrastructure operations, infrastructure design, and provisioning concepts.

• Experience with scripting and automation using Shell Script, Python, or similar languages is an advantage.

• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure environments.

• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and governance standards.

• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

• AWS certifications will be an added advantage.
