Principal Solutions Architect – Telecom BSS & Digital Transformation Core Responsibilities

1. Solution Architecture & Design

Lead the end-to-end solutioning for complex BSS stacks, ensuring high availability and scalability for Prepaid/Postpaid Mobile, Fixed-line, and Digital Voice services.

Architect sophisticated Order Management (OMS) orchestration workflows, including decomposition, validation, and service provisioning (HLR/HSS, OCS).

Design and govern CRM integrations (Compax, Siebel, Salesforce) with downstream Billing, Mediation, and Invoicing systems.

2. Technical Leadership & Governance

Provide strategic oversight to a specialized technical team, managing high-stakes releases and ensuring strict adherence to SLAs and KPIs.

Serve as the final point of escalation for high-priority (P1/P2) production incidents, leading Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implementing automated recovery frameworks.

Drive the adoption of modern engineering practices, including microservices, containerization (Docker), and event-driven architectures.

3. Data Engineering & Integration

Oversee large-scale data migrations and data wrangling projects involving 10M+ records.

Optimize complex data pipelines using Oracle PL/SQL, performance tuning (HINTS, parallel processing), and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).

Standardize integration patterns leveraging REST/SOAP APIs, Middleware, and Cloud-native platforms (AWS Redshift, Azure Databricks).

Required Technical Expertise

BSS Platforms: Deep expertise in Compax and Siebel CRM, including Siebel EIM and workflow scripting.

Order Management: Proven experience in BSS-to-OSS layer integration and automated service provisioning.

Database Mastery: Expert-level Oracle SQL/PL/SQL and Shell Scripting; experience with high-volume transactional datasets (CDRs).

Integration Technologies: Strong hands-on experience with API Gateways (Apigee), Informatica MDM, and IBM CDC.

Ops: Proficient in AWS (S3, Redshift) or Azure, Docker, Git, and RPA automation modules.
