Cloud Solution Architect

We are seeking a hands-on Azure Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, cloud-native applications. This role requires strong code-level expertise in modern frontend frameworks and REST/GraphQL API design, acting as the critical bridge between business requirements and technical execution.

The ideal candidate will ensure that frontend experiences are seamlessly powered by a robust, secure, and high-performing API layer on Azure, while also bringing strong exposure to AI technologies, agentic frameworks, and modern AI tools.

Key Responsibilities

1. Architectural Design

• Lead end-to-end architecture of Azure-based solutions aligned with the Well-Architected Framework

• Create Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) and detailed solution blueprints across compute, storage, and networking

• Ensure scalability, security, performance, and cost optimization across all designs

2. API Strategy & Governance

• Design and manage enterprise API ecosystems using Azure API Management (APIM)

• Define standards for:

• API versioning and lifecycle management

• Security (OAuth2, OpenID Connect)

• Throttling and rate limiting

• Documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger)

• Drive API-first design principles across engineering teams

3. Frontend Architecture Guidance

• Define and promote frontend architectural patterns such as:

• Micro-frontends

• Server-Side Rendering (SSR)

• Ensure seamless integration with Azure services like Static Web Apps, CDN, and Front Door

• Guide teams on performance optimization and user experience best practices

4. Hands-on Prototyping

• Build Proof of Concepts (Po

Cs) to validate complex integrations between frontend and backend systems

• Implement solutions such as:

• Authentication using MSAL

• Real-time communication using SignalR

• Actively contribute to code when required

5. Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Drive infrastructure automation using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates

• Ensure consistent, repeatable deployments across Dev, Test, and Production environments

• Promote best practices in infrastructure versioning and governance

6. Dev

Ops & CI/CD

• Architect and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev

Ops or Git

Hub Actions

• Enable zero-downtime deployments and automated testing strategies

• Improve release velocity while maintaining reliability and security

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure architecture and services

• Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL design

• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.)

• Expertise in API security (OAuth2, OpenID Connect)

• Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM)

• Strong exposure to AI/ML concepts, AI tools, and agentic frameworks

• Experience in designing scalable, distributed cloud-native systems
