SUMMARY:

Are you an experienced Azure Solutions Architect or Cloud Architect based in Durban or open to opportunities in KZN? We are building a strong network of senior cloud professionals for upcoming enterprise roles.

POSITION INFO:

At Network Contracting Solutions, we partner with leading enterprise organisations across Gauteng, connecting top-tier Cloud and Infrastructure Architects with strategic projects. We are currently engaging with experienced Azure Solutions Architects for upcoming opportunities within large, complex environments.

These roles offer exposure to enterprise-scale cloud transformations, hybrid infrastructure design, and business-critical architecture initiatives. You will work closely with both technical and executive stakeholders, shaping cloud strategy, driving cost optimisation, and delivering secure, scalable solutions aligned to business goals. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Azure cloud architecture including IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid solutions

• Develop and govern Azure landing zones, security models, and cost optimisation strategies (Fin

Ops)

• Lead cloud migration initiatives, including assessments, planning, and execution

• Define monitoring, disaster recovery, and resilience strategies for enterprise environments

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions

• Provide architecture oversight across cloud and on-prem infrastructure

Job Experience & Skills Required / Ideal Candidate Profile:

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator)

Experience:

• 4 - 8 years in IT infrastructure, cloud, or architecture roles

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS, governance, migration)

• Experience in hybrid cloud and enterprise infrastructure environments

• Exposure to AWS is advantageous

• Experience in cost modelling, optimisation, or Fin

Ops is beneficial

• Strong stakeholder engagement and solution design experience

Skills:

• Azure Architecture (Landing Zones, Governance, Security)

• Cloud Migration & Strategy

• Infrastructure (Active Directory, Virtualisation, Networking)

• Monitoring (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics)

• Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity

• Strong communication and presentation skills
