Job Purpose:

To supervise day-to-day engineering execution within an assigned platform squad or workstream by guiding engineers, maintaining delivery momentum, and ensuring platform work is built, tested, and ready for stable operations in line with agreed standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervises engineering execution within an assigned platform squad, stream, or service area.

• Supports delivery predictability through close follow-up on scope, quality, timelines, and technical issues.

• Supports the development and operation of shared platform components and capabilities that are reusable, scalable, and aligned with architecture, security, and enterprise standards (e.g., data & analytics, AI/ML, identity & access, messaging, billing, and deployment toolchains).

• Works closely with architecture, QA, security, operations, and Technology & Digital Enablement to support smooth execution and platform alignment.

• Coordinates day-to-day engineering activities, work allocation, progress tracking, and technical follow-up within the assigned platform squad.

• Ensures platform work (including APIs, SDKs, and components) is clearly understood and meets expected quality, security, and operational readiness standards before release.

• Coordinates with QA and dependent teams to ensure integration points, environment readiness, access requirements, and monitoring considerations are addressed.

• Helps monitor platform usage, service health, and basic SLA adherence, escalating issues where needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s in computer science or related field..

• 3–5 years in software / platform engineering.

• Experience in agile delivery, APIs, and cloud environments.
