IT Platform Developer - Application Support Engineer

Job Description

The role involves supporting development, integration, security compliance, and BAU operations across multiple enterprise systems. The developer will deliver UCRs, maintain secure environments, support test setups, and provide operational and backup development support. The role requires close collaboration with QA, Security, Operations, and Architecture teams to ensure stable and reliable system delivery.

5-6 Years of experience

Requirements:

· Perform monthly security fixes, Git

Lab security remediation, and compliance scan resolutions.

· Develop, test, and deploy UCRs while supporting upgrades and platform changes.

· Build and integrate APIs, payment flows, and new feature modules.

· Support partner/product onboarding and related configuration updates.

· Provide test environment setup, data preparation, and troubleshooting.

· Deliver production support, incident triage, debugging, and RCA.

· Support BAU development/maintenance and act as backup for other systems.

· Participate in integration initiatives including replacing legacy flows and onboarding external services.

· Maintain documentation, follow governance processes, and ensure performance and availability.

Qualification requirements:

· Strong development skills in Java, Node.js, Python, and API/microservices development.

· Experience with Git

Lab CI/CD, secure development, and compliance remediation.

· Skilled in ReactJS, REST/SOAP, HTML5, and front-end/web technologies.

· Proficient with MSSQL/PostgreSQL schema design and optimization.

· Experience with AWS cloud, Unix scripting, and environment management.

· Knowledge of Agile, Scrum for Developers, and secure coding practices.

Job Type: Contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM8,000.00 per month
