Platform Engineer - Kubernetes

We’re looking for a Platform Engineer to join our Platform team and work hands-on building and operating a Kubernetes-based managed platform used by business teams across the organization.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys deep technical ownership, production systems, and building reliable platforms at scale.

What you’ll do

· Own and operate a production-grade Kubernetes platform spanning multiple datacenters and cloud environments

· Design, build, and maintain managed services on Kubernetes

· Develop and maintain Kubernetes Operators and platform controllers

· Package, deploy, and manage platform components using Helm

· Drive Git

Ops-based deployment and operational workflows (Argo CD)

· Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and security

· Troubleshoot complex production issues and continuously improve platform

· Partner with application teams to improve developer experience and platform adoption

What you bring

· 4+ years of experience in platform engineering/development, Dev

Sec

Ops, or internal developer platform roles

· Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes

· Experience building and operating Kubernetes Operators

· Experience in one or more of the following technologies: Istio, Keycloak and Kyverno

· Solid programming experience in Python

· Hands-on experience with Helm and Git

Ops practices (e.g., Argo CD)

· Proven experience running production platforms

Kubernetes Platform Engg. For this role, deep Kubernetes hands on experience is must. Python (good backend dev experience) / Kuberenetes Operators / Kyverno / Istio / Keycloack / Kafka any of these skills will be added advantage.

Note:

Cloud engineer or pure CICD devops candidate wont fit into the role, because we have seen they lack experience in Kubernetes.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
