Data Security Analyst

We are currently working on a Data Security Analyst / Engineer opportunity supporting a large enterprise environment focused on Data Security Posture Management (DSPM).

This role revolves around security, data, and cloud, supporting tools and platforms that monitor, classify, and protect sensitive data across both on-prem and cloud environments.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting data security platforms that monitor and protect sensitive data across the enterprise

• Onboarding and integrating data sources across cloud and on-prem environments

• Working with APIs and integrations to connect security tools, cloud platforms, and internal systems

• Monitoring system health, troubleshooting issues, and improving platform performance

• Supporting data discovery, classification, and policy enforcement efforts

• Collaborating with security, infrastructure, and engineering teams to enhance data protection capabilities

• Contributing to reporting, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives

What We Are Looking For

• 3–5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, data security, or data engineering

• Experience working with data discovery, classification, or security tooling

• Strong understanding of APIs and integrations (REST, event-driven)

• Experience with Python for scripting or automation

• Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work across teams

Nice to Have

• Experience with DSPM or similar security platforms (Varonis, BigID, Wiz, Prisma, etc.)

• Familiarity with SIEM/SOAR, CMDB, or data catalog tools

• Understanding of regulatory frameworks (PII, PCI, etc.)

• Experience working with structured and unstructured data environments
