Security Analyst - VAPT

As a Security Analyst at TechD Cyber

Security Ltd., you will be an integral part of the VAPT team, responsible for conducting comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for various IT systems. Your role will involve identifying security vulnerabilities, providing actionable recommendations, and preparing detailed technical reports for clients. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall security posture of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (VAPT) for web applications, networks, mobile applications, and other IT systems.
• Identify and document security vulnerabilities, offering actionable recommendations to mitigate risks.
• Utilize security tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nessus, and OWASP ZAP for security assessments.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and executive summaries for clients.
• Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, tools, and attack techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve vulnerabilities and improve security posture.
• Assist in developing internal security guidelines, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing.
• Proficiency in security tools like Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nessus, Wireshark, and others.
• Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 25, and common security standards.
• Relevant certifications such as CEH, OSCP, or CISSP will be an added advantage.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
