InfoSec Security Engineer

Role Overview:
As a Cross Function Security Technology Support Engineer in the Security Technology Operations team, you will utilize your development security operational experience to troubleshoot issues, collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders, and support various security technologies. Your role will involve ensuring the security and robustness of systems by working with internal and external groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Document security assessments for RFP submissions, compliance needs, findings, and remediation plans
• Collaborate with third-party vendors and partners to assess the security of their systems
• Participate in incident response activities and resolve security incidents promptly
• Conduct security assessments and penetration testing using industry-grade tools
• Identify vulnerabilities and provide recommendations to mitigate risks
• Design and implement security controls in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Stay updated with security trends and technologies to enhance security posture
• Perform code review and analysis to identify security flaws
• Develop and maintain security testing methodologies and tools
• Conduct security training and awareness programs for employees

Qualification Required:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
• Strong experience in security testing, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and code review
• Proficiency in using industry-grade security testing tools
• Knowledge of web application security, network protocols, operating systems, and cloud platforms
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as OWASP, NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS
• Experience with scripting languages for automation and tool development
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Relevant certifications such as CEH, CISSP, OSCP, or GIAC certifications are a plus
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and secure SDLC methodologies
