🚀 About the Role

Act Digital is currently looking for a SOC Analyst (L2) to join a dynamic cybersecurity team within a large enterprise environment in Montreal.

You will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents, while contributing to the continuous improvement of security operations.

🎯 Responsibilities

• Monitor security events using SIEM and other security tools

• Analyze alerts and identify potential security incidents

• Investigate and escalate incidents when necessary

• Perform initial triage and support incident response activities

• Participate in threat detection and continuous improvement of use cases

• Collaborate with internal teams (IT, security, infrastructure)

• Document incidents and contribute to reporting

🧠 Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field

• 1–2 years of experience in cybersecurity (SOC experience is a strong asset)

• Good understanding of cybersecurity principles and common threats

• Experience with SIEM, EDR, or security monitoring tools

• Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, etc.)

• Ability to analyze and respond to incidents
