Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role in New Cairo for a SOC Tech professional. The SOC Tech will perform threat monitoring, incident analysis, and response to ensure the security of the organization's IT environment. Daily responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing security alerts, troubleshooting system vulnerabilities, maintaining security tools, and producing comprehensive incident reports. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with technical teams to strengthen cybersecurity measures.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in cybersecurity operations, including threat monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability assessment

• Experience in managing and configuring security information and event management (SIEM) systems

• Critical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail in analyzing and resolving security incidents

• Familiarity with endpoint security tools, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems

• Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, cloud platforms, and malware behavior

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field

• Certifications such as CEH, CISM, CISSP, or CompTIA Security+ are preferred
