QA Engineer (Banking/Financial Services Applications)

Position Overview: We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer with strong expertise in software test automation and Selenium to ensure the reliability, performance, and compliance of mission-critical applications in the Banking and Financial Services domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in payments systems or merchandise/transaction platforms, combined with a solid background in QA methodologies and automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and automated scripts for banking/financial applications.

Validate payment processing workflows, merchandise transactions, and settlement systems for accuracy and compliance.

Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across web and mobile platforms.

Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure requirements are testable and delivered with quality.

Implement and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar tools.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git

Hub Actions, Azure Dev

Ops, etc.).

Document defects, track resolutions, and ensure timely closure.

Contribute to QA best practices, standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

7+ years of QA Automation experience in Banking/Financial Services applications.

Strong domain knowledge in Payments (Cards, ACH, SWIFT, UPI, Wallets) or Merchandise/Transaction systems.

Preferably banking domain with fraud experience , payments and merchant

Expertise with Playwright, Java Script, Cucumber Framework , Selenium, and Automation using copilot

Hands-on expertise with Selenium Web

Driver and test automation frameworks.

Proficiency in scripting languages: Java, Python, or Java

Script.

Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Rest

Assured, SoapUI).

Familiarity with SQL for data validation and backend testing.

Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and defect tracking tools (JIRA, ALM, etc.).

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Load

Runner).

Applied Knowledge of banking compliance standards (PCI DSS, ISO 8583, PSD2).

Exposure to cloud-based test environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
