QA Developer / System Test Engineer

Contract: Initial 7 months +

Location: Montreal, Canada

We’re looking for an experienced System Test Engineer to support testing and automation across a complex platform environment.

What you’ll do:

• Plan and run system-level tests to validate requirements

• Build and maintain automated test scripts (BDD, Cucumber)

• Work closely with dev, product, and architecture teams

• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines

• Analyze results, troubleshoot issues, and log defects

Requirements:

• 5+ years in QA / system testing

• Strong experience with BDD (Cucumber, Gherkin)

• Solid coding skills (Java

Script, Type

Script, or Python)

• Experience with Playwright, Selenium, and API testing (Postman)

• Familiar with CI/CD, Agile, and test management tools (e.g. Jira, Xray)

Nice to have:

• Cloud and containers (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Experience with high-availability systems or mobile/device provisioning

Soft skills:

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and a good communicator

• Comfortable working in fast-paced Agile teams
