Senior QA Consultant

XE Inspection Inc. is seeking a high-caliber QA/QC Engineer with proven expertise across electrical, mechanical, and structural scopes. This role is not suited for generalists—we are looking for someone who can confidently operate across disciplines, take ownership in the field, and drive quality without supervision.

Role Summary

Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for enforcing quality across complex, multi-disciplinary construction activities, with a strong presence in the field. You will be expected to identify issues before they become problems, challenge execution when required, and ensure all work meets the highest standards.

Core Technical Requirements (Mandatory)

You must have strong, hands-on experience in:

• Electrical Systems

High-voltage installations, cable routing and terminations, grounding systems, lightning protection, and QA/QC verification of electrical infrastructure.

• Mechanical Systems

Equipment installation, alignment, grouting, mechanical interfaces, and coordination of mechanical scopes with structural and electrical works.

• Structural Works

Structural steel erection, anchor systems, concrete forming and placement, retaining structures, and strict adherence to IFC drawings and tolerances.

What You Will Be Accountable For

• Full QA/QC ownership across electrical, mechanical, and structural scopes.

• Verifying all installations comply with drawings, specifications, and codes.

• Leading field inspections and making real-time technical decisions.

• Managing and holding subcontractors accountable to quality and schedule.

• Reviewing drawings and identifying gaps, conflicts, or constructability issues.

• Preparing RFIs, submittals, and technical documentation with precision.

• Driving progress while maintaining strict quality control standards.

• Supporting commissioning, turnover, and project closeout deliverables.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or technical diploma with strong field experience.

• Minimum 3–5+ years in industrial or infrastructure QA/QC roles.

• Demonstrated experience across electrical, mechanical, and structural scopes (mandatory).

• Strong ability to read and interpret multi-disciplinary drawings.

• Experience with high-voltage systems and structural steel is highly preferred.

• Proficiency in MS Office; MS Project and AutoCAD are assets.

• Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

• Must be able to work on-site and adapt to project demands.
