DCS software engineers often work directly with business development teams and customers to define and deliver meaningful innovations and resolve complex technical issues.

DCS Quality Analysts are a critical component in meeting our customers’ needs. They work closely with product management, software engineering, business development, and customers to create effective and efficient test strategies and procedures that ensure continuous quality assurance and improvement. We are looking for talented and dedicated individuals who are innovative and passionate about maintaining a consistently superior product quality and user experience with every release.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure test coverage by designing and developing test scripts throughout the SDLC for new feature development, as well as smoke and regression testing of new builds.

  • Develop test cases based on software requirements and technical specifications, and prioritize testing tasks.

  • Log, document, and reproduce bugs and defects for troubleshooting.

  • Act as an active member of the Scrum team to ensure quality is built into products and services.

  • Work closely with developers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate implementation of quality assurance processes.

  • Define current and desired target states, perform root cause analysis, and design experiments to validate fixes.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.

  • Working experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

  • Experience in designing and developing test plans and test cases from software requirements.

  • Experience in developing and manipulating test data.

  • Experience in API testing.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong customer service attitude.

Highly Desired Qualifications:

  • Test Management Tools: Jira, Zephyr, HP Quality Center, etc.

  • Test Automation Tools: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, etc.

  • API Tools: Swagger, Postman, or RESTer.

  • Code Repository Tools: Git, SVN, etc.

  • Virtualization Tools: Virtual

Box, VMware, Docker, etc.
