Junior System Administrator Trainee / Junior Associate Trainee - Internship

About the internship:

iCAST Analytics is looking for two enthusiastic freshers/early-career talents to join our growing team in a dynamic, learning-focused environment.

1. Junior System Administrator Trainee (On-site, Full-time)

Build a strong foundation in IT infrastructure and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day system administration & server support

• Troubleshooting, diagnostics & technical support

• Managing and maintaining network infrastructure

• Ensuring smooth operation of IT systems

Requirements:

• Proficiency in System Administration & basic server configurations

• Knowledge in Hypervisors

• Knowledge of Network Administration and Troubleshooting

• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills

• Good verbal & written communication

• Diploma/Bachelors in IT, Computer Science or related field

• CompTIA or CCNA certification is a plus

2. Junior Associate Trainee ELT, Data & AI (On-site, Full-time)

Work on real-world ELT projects, data pipelines, and introductory AI/ML solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handling ELT projects and data workflows

• Building and optimizing data pipelines

• Applying Python for data processing and basic AI model development

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in SQL

• Experience or training in ELT processes

• Good knowledge of Python and essential data science libraries:

• Pandas & Num

Py (data manipulation)

• Scikit-learn (machine learning)

• Py

Torch (deep learning & AI models)

• Exposure to Matplotlib/Seaborn (visualization) or Polars is a plus

• Solid foundation in Information Technology

• Strong problem-solving and team collaboration skills

• Good verbal & written communication

• Diploma/Bachelors in IT, Computer Science or related field

• Relevant certifications are a plus

Location: Chennai (On-site only)

Experience: Fresher / Trainee level welcome
