Mid-level System Administrator - Cairo Airport

Job responsibilities:

• Participate in The implementation process and assess all newly purchased servers, softwares’ based on the agreed SOW (scope of work).

• Prepare the communication matrix and share it with the network and security team to check servers’ components and everything as planned and escalate any issues.

• Design, install and configure servers, and virtual machines (VMS).

• Install and manage operating system (Windows server –Ubuntu), and install all related MS products, to support business, infra, network applications.

• Design & assign security policies to servers based on policy, Secure & protect servers from any threats.

• Inspect & analyze servers’ hardware, software inventory, and push windows updates security batch to ensure that the server is ready to join production, and keep it updated to secure it.

• Check all servers’ services, VMS, replication between sites, High availability, and redundancy, execute healthy and performance check.

Job requirements:

• Bachelor degree

• Minimum 3 Years’ experience in IT infrastructure.

• Hands-on experience in VMware, windows server (active directory domain - service, DNS, DHCP, WDS, wsus, DHCP failover), Microsoft system center, backup & san & nas storage– hyper convention.

• Good knowledge of Power
