You will design, build, and secure network architecture spanning multiple datacenters and global hosting services.
Responsibilities
Implement firewall and segmentation platforms to protect the network from internal and external attacks.
Identify sensitive network areas and propose segmentation solutions to reduce risk.
Lead network engineering development from initial concept through design and integration to meet stakeholder requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues, security problems, and network incidents under pressure.
Analyze technology operations tool data to develop trending analyses and eliminate recurring incidents.
Required Skills
5+ years of experience in data center networking and security.
Cisco CCNP, Juniper JNCIS, or equivalent certification and capability.
Extensive experience with Palo Alto and/or Fortinet firewall products.
Expertise in routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and ISIS.
Proficiency in VLANs, STP, SPAN, Inter-VLAN routing, and advanced switching concepts.
In-depth knowledge of DHCP, NTP, HSRP, VRRP, ARP, NAT, ACL, PBR, GRE, IPsec, Remote Access VPN, and DMVPN.
Strong understanding of network security implementation, firewalls, DDoS mitigation, and intrusion detection.
Experience with UNIX/Linux systems and debugging network issues related to those environments.
Ability to plan, execute, and document projects with minimal supervision.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
Preferred Skills
Experience with EVPN and/or VXLAN on Arista or Juniper products.
Knowledge of public cloud networking in GCP, AWS, Azure, or OCI.
Experience using Ansible for router and switch management or Python for scripting.
