We are seeking a reliable and skilled Onsite IT & Network Support Engineer/Technician to handle freelance, task-based assignments within your local area. This is a flexible, contract-based opportunity where you can choose tasks based on your availability, including weekdays and weekends.
Work assignments will be dispatched according to your location, and compensation will be provided on an hourly, half-day, or full-day basis.
Responsibilities include providing L1 and L2 technical support such as desktop troubleshooting, hardware installation and replacement (e.g., hard drives, server/rack components), and offering onsite assistance for remote teams by providing console access to network devices like routers, switches, and firewalls.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong experience in desktop/system administration and customer support
Familiarity with incident, change, and release management processes
Hands-on experience supporting Windows-based platforms and third-party applications
Training or certification in IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Windows Server Administration is preferred
Basic knowledge of networking concepts including DHCP, DNS, IP addressing, subnetting, and LAN/Wi-Fi troubleshooting
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues across multiple operating systems including Windows, iOS, Android, and Black
Berry devices
