Our client is a leading aviation group in Hong Kong seeking a Network Engineer to support and maintain a mission-critical enterprise network environment. This role is essential to ensuring network stability, security, and performance across Airport Island and multiple outport/subsidiary locations. The team also provides responsive client-facing support, so flexibility, incident ownership, and strong troubleshooting skills are key.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Network Operations & Support
Provide day-to-day operational support to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of the enterprise network infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents efficiently, including escalations that require rapid coordination and clear communication.
Support service requests and client calls, maintaining a high standard of responsiveness and service quality.
Multi-site / Outport Support & Remote Hands Coordination
Support incidents across outport sites by coordinating with remote-hands business partners and ensuring issues are resolved within expected timelines.
Provide dedicated IT network support services to subsidiary offices across multiple locations, including occasional onsite visits.
Collaboration on End-user Network Services (Voice / Radio)
Support IP phone services and related connectivity with business partners and vendors.
Coordinate support for walkie-talkie / radio communication services as required.
Documentation & Operational Readiness
Maintain clear documentation of incidents, fixes, configurations, and operational procedures.
Participate in planned operational coverage including periodic night-shift support and readiness activities.
Requirements
Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in network administration or network engineering.
Strong knowledge of core network technologies including:
TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs
Routing and switching (troubleshooting and implementation)
Good understanding of network security fundamentals and firewall operations/management.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure in an incident-driven environment.
Hands-on experience with Cisco network devices is an advantage.
CCNA or equivalent certification preferred.
Working Arrangement (for posting use)
Location: Airport Island (Chek Lap Kok) — primarily onsite, Monday to Friday 09:00–18:00
Occasional travel to subsidiary offices
Participate in a monthly night-shift rotation (weekdays/weekends 18:00–09:00); night shifts are work-from-home unless an incident requires onsite presence
