Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Engineer (L2) to provide advanced technical support for end-user systems, hardware, and software. The role involves troubleshooting complex issues, supporting IT infrastructure, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations for all departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently

  • Manage and support Windows OS environments and common business applications

  • Handle user account management (Active Directory, email setup, access control)

  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (LAN/Wi-Fi/VPN)

  • Install, configure, and upgrade systems, software, and security patches

  • Maintain IT assets and ensure proper documentation of systems and inventory

  • Support remote users via remote desktop tools

  • Escalate unresolved issues to L3 or vendors when required

  • Ensure adherence to IT policies, security standards, and data protection practices

  • Assist in IT projects, system rollouts, and upgrades

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS (10/11) and basic server environments

  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory & user management

  • Understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)

  • Experience with ticketing tools and SLA-based support

  • Good knowledge of hardware troubleshooting

  • Familiarity with remote support tools

  • Basic knowledge of antivirus, backup, and security practices

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks

  • Professional and user-friendly approach (especially while dealing with non-technical users)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field

  • Certifications like CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified, or similar (preferred)

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
