Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Engineer (L2) to provide advanced technical support for end-user systems, hardware, and software. The role involves troubleshooting complex issues, supporting IT infrastructure, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations for all departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Level 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently
Manage and support Windows OS environments and common business applications
Handle user account management (Active Directory, email setup, access control)
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (LAN/Wi-Fi/VPN)
Install, configure, and upgrade systems, software, and security patches
Maintain IT assets and ensure proper documentation of systems and inventory
Support remote users via remote desktop tools
Escalate unresolved issues to L3 or vendors when required
Ensure adherence to IT policies, security standards, and data protection practices
Assist in IT projects, system rollouts, and upgrades
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of Windows OS (10/11) and basic server environments
Hands-on experience with Active Directory & user management
Understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
Experience with ticketing tools and SLA-based support
Good knowledge of hardware troubleshooting
Familiarity with remote support tools
Basic knowledge of antivirus, backup, and security practices
Soft Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
Professional and user-friendly approach (especially while dealing with non-technical users)
Preferred Qualifications:
Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
Certifications like CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified, or similar (preferred)
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
