Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Application Support Engineer, based in Kochi.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead installation, configuration, and support of access control systems and custom software

• Provide L2/L3 technical support for critical issues and escalations

• Manage integrations with HRMS and other enterprise systems

• Support and maintain:

• Visitor Management Systems (VMS)

• Time & Attendance Systems

• Car Parking Management Systems

• Work on systems based on Nedap and Invixium products

• Handle incident management, including:

• Incident logging, analysis, and root cause identification

• Timely resolution and escalation

• Preparation of incident reports and RCA documents

• Perform system installation, commissioning, and on-site support

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and integration-related issues

• Manage and support Windows Server environments

• Configure and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases

• Write and execute SQL queries for troubleshooting and reporting

• Support load balancer environments and high-availability systems

• Monitor system health, performance, and uptime

• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders

• Maintain detailed technical documentation and reports

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Technical Support / Field Engineering

• Strong experience in ELV systems, especially access control

• Hands-on experience in:

• Access control system deployment and support

• HRMS integrations

• Visitor Management, Time & Attendance, and Parking systems

• Proven experience with Nedap and/or Invixium solutions

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments

• Experience in Microsoft SQL Server configuration and management

• Good knowledge of SQL queries (SELECT, JOIN, UPDATE, etc.)

• Experience working in load-balanced / high-availability environments

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, IT, or related field

• Experience in oil & gas or large enterprise environments (ADNOC preferred)

• Basic networking knowledge (IP, firewall, ports, VPN)

• Understanding of cybersecurity practices and system hardening
