Job Description

An ongoing client of ours at Talent is hiring an IT Support Technician to be the frontline technical resource for their fast-growing San Jose office.

You'll support employees' day-to-day computing needs — from hardware and helpdesk to onboarding and M365 administration — helping the team stay productive and connected.

This is an initial 6-month contract with the possibility to extend to full time. Please keep this in mind when applying.

Location:

5x/week onsite — San Jose, CA

Compensation: $30–35/hr

What you'll do:

  • Provide hands-on hardware support — laptops, peripherals, and end-user devices

  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding, including device deployment and account provisioning

  • Monitor and triage helpdesk tickets; serve as first point of contact for walk-up support

  • Administer Microsoft 365 — Entra ID, Intune, Exchange, Share

Point, and related services

  • Track and maintain hardware inventory through its full lifecycle

What our client is looking for:

  • 1-2 years in IT support, desktop support, or helpdesk

  • Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Microsoft 365

  • Familiarity with Intune, Autopilot, and the full Microsoft Admin Suite

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • CompTIA A+ or Microsoft MS-102 certification a plus
