Databricks Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Databricks Architect to lead the design and development of advanced Lakehouse, Delta, and Agentic AI solutions. This role requires deep hands‑on expertise with the Databricks ecosystem—especially Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Databricks Genie, and emerging agentic frameworks such as Mosaic AI and Agent Bricks. The ideal candidate brings strong engineering fundamentals, cloud platform experience, and the ability to build conversational agents, integrate LLMs, orchestrate complex workflows, and enforce robust governance across data and AI pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement solutions on the Databricks Lakehouse Platform with strong hands‑on delivery.

• Design scalable data solutions using Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and strong data modeling practices.

• Build and deploy Databricks Genie or other conversational analytics solutions (mandatory requirement).

• Design and implement Agentic AI services including Mosaic AI, Agent Bricks, and integrate Databricks agents into external platforms (e.g., web applications).

• Develop and maintain Databricks notebooks and workflows for advanced data and AI pipelines.

• Build conversational agents using Databricks’ GenAI and agentic tooling.

• Implement agentic AI principles such as tool usage, multi-step reasoning, orchestration, and guardrails.

• Integrate LLMs into the Lakehouse and perform prompt engineering for production use cases.

• Ensure governance through Unity Catalog, enforce access policies, and implement monitoring & logging best practices.

• Optimize pipelines for cost and performance.

Skills & Experience Required

• Strong hands‑on experience with the Databricks Lakehouse Platform.

• Deep expertise in Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and data modeling.

• Mandatory experience with Databricks Genie or similar conversational analytics platforms.

• Experience designing agentic workflows and Databricks agentic services.

• Hands‑on development with Python, SQL, Py

Spark, and Spark SQL.

• Experience developing Databricks notebooks and workflows end‑to‑end.

• Knowledge of LLM integration, prompt design, and AI orchestration.

• Experience with one or more cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Strong design experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, job scheduling, workflow orchestration, monitoring, and logging.

• Databricks certifications are an added advantage. Looking for immediate joiners.
