The Products and Applied Research organization in Meta Super
Intelligence Labs is on a mission to create groundbreaking AI products that enhance daily experiences for billions of users. As a Technical Program Manager (TPM), you will play a crucial role in transforming AI innovations into substantial business value. Collaborate with an extraordinary team of AI engineers, scientists, product managers, and data scientists to evaluate cutting-edge models, develop state-of-the-art techniques, and streamline model productionization while maintaining high standards of quality.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and management of comprehensive technical AI/ML product solutions, ensuring timely delivery.
Own cross-functional product execution in a dynamic matrix organization.
Drive technical and product strategy, identifying risks and crafting mitigation strategies while aligning on priorities.
Help shape the roadmap and long-term strategies of collaborative teams.
Establish metrics to assess impact and drive improvements in internal processes.
Effectively communicate technology requirements, goals, and milestones to stakeholders.
Work cohesively with fellow TPMs, product managers, and engineers to cultivate a shared vision and enhance execution.
Provide ongoing updates on planning, project status, issues, and risks in a timely manner.
Influence product decisions to align with overarching company initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
12+ years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or technical program management.
Proven track record of delivering complex AI/ML projects from inception to launch.
Expertise in defining strategic directions and identifying impactful opportunities.
Solid understanding of user needs, requirements gathering, and scope definition.
Ability to work autonomously across teams, demonstrating critical thinking and leadership.
Strong organizational and coordination skills with proven multitasking abilities.
Exceptional communication skills, particularly at the executive level, with proficiency in influencing decision-makers.
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly with large-scale systems.
Experience building relationships across diverse teams and partners in various time zones.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience launching products reliant on large models (LLMs and VLMs).
Familiarity with evaluating model performance in production.
Experience collaborating with both modeling and product teams.
Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools for optimized workflows and measurable impacts.
Knowledge of responsible and ethical AI practices, including risk mitigation and quality reviews.
Commitment to ongoing AI skill development and staying updated on emerging technologies.
$199,000/year to $272,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
