The Product Management team at Shopee is the key focal point between the business, engineering and design teams. The team is responsible for implementing strategy, road maps and features, while adhering to business goals. It covers all functions including but not limited to Financial Services, Supply Chain, Search, Recommendation, Advertising, Order, Promotion, User, Anti-Fraud, Seller Service. About the Team:

The role supports the development and delivery of Payment Processing and Card Issuing features, with a key focus on driving UAT/testing, feature launches, supporting BAU operations, and ensuring stable payment performance.

Job Description:

  • Support end-to-end product development for payment processing and card issuing features, from requirement gathering to rollout

  • Own and drive User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Evaluate / develop test cases, plan and execute testing, track defects, and ensure timely resolution before release

  • Coordinate with internal cross-functional stakeholders (Business, Ops, Compliance, Risk, Compliance, Finance), and external partners (banks, payment/card networks, vendors) to support feature delivery and integrations

  • Collaborate with business and regional product teams to analyse and evaluate feature requests, ensuring alignment and feasibility for accurate and comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs).

  • Support BAU operations and incident handling, including monitoring issues, troubleshooting, and coordinating with stakeholders for resolution

  • Monitor product performance (eg. success rate, failures) and support analysis for continuous improvements

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in product, fintech, payments, or related roles

  • Experience in launching product features, UAT/testing, issue resolution, or operational support is strongly preferred

  • Exposure to payment systems or card issuing flows, ability to operate in fast-paced, high-pressure environments is strongly preferred

  • Fluent communication skills with ability to manage cross-functional local and regional stakeholders

  • Proficient in English and Malay (written and spoken); Chinese is a plus.

  • Detail-oriented, proactive, critical thinker with a growth mindset and strong team spirit.
