About the Role: Better
Bugs is on a mission to make bug reporting effortless for developers and QA teams. We are looking for a passionate and analytical Associate Product Manager to join our product team and help shape the future of developer tools. You will work closely with cross-functional teams—engineering, design, marketing, and business stakeholders—to define, build, and ship products that delight our users and drive business outcomes. You will own key features end-to-end, from discovery through delivery, using strong product thinking and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Product Discovery & Strategy: Conduct user research, competitive analysis, and market assessments to identify opportunities and validate product hypotheses.
User Stories & Requirements: Write clear, well-structured user stories with detailed acceptance criteria.
Roadmap Ownership: Collaborate with Senior PM / Head of Product to maintain product roadmap aligned with company vision.
Agile Execution: Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives.
Backlog Management: Prioritize using RICE, MoSCoW, or Kano frameworks.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and development teams.
Metrics & Analytics: Define and track KPIs/OKRs to measure feature success.
Go-to-Market Support: Partner with marketing and sales for launches, release notes, and rollouts.
Skills Required
Must-Have Skills:
Strong product thinking – ability to break down complex problems, identify user pain points, and propose scalable solutions.
Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodology with hands-on experience running sprints and managing backlogs.
Excellent user story writing with clear acceptance criteria and edge-case coverage.
Ability to articulate and contribute to product vision, strategy, and roadmap planning.
Solid understanding of PM frameworks: RICE, MoSCoW, Kano Model, JTBD, Lean Canvas, Value Proposition Canvas.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, derive insights, and make decisions accordingly.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
Good-to-Have Skills

Basic understanding of APIs, system architecture, or SDLC.
Familiarity with UX/UI principles and wireframing tools (Figma, Sketch, etc.).
