Overview

We are looking for a Product Owner with 25 years of experience to work in an Agile workplace and support end-to-end product development. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams, managing the product backlog, and ensuring delivery of high-value features aligned with business goals. This position is well-suited for professionals transitioning from Business Analyst, QA, or Agile team roles.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring items are clearly defined, prioritized, and aligned with business objectives

• Write detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria to guide development teams

• Collaborate with stakeholders (business, clients, internal teams) to gather, analyze, and refine requirements

• Translate business needs into functional requirements and actionable backlog items

• Work closely with development and QA teams to clarify requirements and remove blockers

• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives using Scrum

• Support sprint execution by ensuring the team has well-groomed and ready backlog items

• Assist in release planning, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of features

• Validate delivered features against acceptance criteria and business expectations

• Continuously prioritize work based on business value, urgency, and stakeholder inputs

• Act as a bridge between business and technical teams to ensure alignment and clarity

Skills & Experience

• 25 years of experience in roles such as Associate Product Owner/ Product Owner

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and backlog management practices

• Hands-on experience in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirement documentation

• Experience working with tools like Jira, Confluence, or Azure Dev
