ABOUT THE ROLE
The Junior Project Manager role is designed for a structured and curious individual who enjoys coordinating work and solving complex problems. Initially focusing on project execution and stakeholder management, the position offers a performance-based growth path into a Product Manager role within 6–12 months.
MAIN DUTIES
During the Junior Project Manager phase, the candidate will focus on the following core areas:
Project Coordination & Execution: Track internal projects and timelines across technical and support teams. Follow up with stakeholders, identify blockers early, and maintain project task boards while providing weekly status reports to management.
Requirements & Documentation: Work with internal teams to understand and document business and customer requirements clearly. Ensure alignment between business needs and technical execution while maintaining internal process documentation.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Coordinate communication between support, technical teams, and management. Translate technical information into business-friendly language to ensure smooth handovers.
Product & Customer Exposure: Assist in gathering customer feedback from support and operations to track recurring issues and improvement opportunities.
Growth Path
Transition to Product Manager (6–12 months):
Transition Milestone: Owning specific product components end-to-end and helping define product improvements based on customer feedback and operational insights.
Strategic Involvement: Supporting product roadmap planning, prioritisation, and monitoring performance metrics to improve quality and usability.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:
Education: A completed or in-progress Diploma or Degree in Business, IT, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
Core Skills: Strong organisational and follow-up skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Clear written and verbal communication is essential.
Preferred Experience: Previous exposure to project coordination, operations, or software tools like Trello, Jira, or Click
Up is considered an advantage.
