IT Portfolio / Project Manager

A recreational services organization in Westchester County, New York is seeking a new Portfolio / Project Manager to join their team, supporting key company initiatives and overseeing a variety of projects.

About the Opportunity:

• Assignment Length: 12+ months (possible extension)

• Schedule: Full-time

• Hours: Standard business hours

• Setting: Hybrid (1-3 days a week onsite)
  Responsibilities:

• Leading the planning and implementation of assigned IT projects

• Facilitating meetings between technical teams and business stakeholders

• Managing project documentation using agile and waterfall methodologies

• Identifying and managing project risks

• Maintaining project dashboards and providing weekly updates

• Performing other duties, as needed
  Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in IT Project Management

• Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree in a related field

• Strong understanding managing a breadth IT Projects

• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and project scheduling software

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

• Task-oriented and strong organizational skills

• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  Desired Qualifications:

• Advanced Degree in Project Management or related field

• Certifications like PMP or equivalent

• Advanced skills in Project Scheduling software
