A recreational services organization in Westchester County, New York is seeking a new Portfolio / Project Manager to join their team, supporting key company initiatives and overseeing a variety of projects.
About the Opportunity:
Assignment Length: 12+ months (possible extension)
Schedule: Full-time
Hours: Standard business hours
Setting: Hybrid (1-3 days a week onsite)
Responsibilities:
Leading the planning and implementation of assigned IT projects
Facilitating meetings between technical teams and business stakeholders
Managing project documentation using agile and waterfall methodologies
Identifying and managing project risks
Maintaining project dashboards and providing weekly updates
Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in IT Project Management
Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree in a related field
Strong understanding managing a breadth IT Projects
Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and project scheduling software
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Task-oriented and strong organizational skills
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Desired Qualifications:
Advanced Degree in Project Management or related field
Certifications like PMP or equivalent
Advanced skills in Project Scheduling software
