Senior Project Manager - Technology

Our client, a leader in innovative software solutions, is seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Project Manager to lead critical technology initiatives from their office in Seattle, Washington, US . This role requires a proven ability to manage complex projects from initiation to closure, ensuring successful delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for defining project scope, developing detailed project plans, managing resources, and mitigating risks, while fostering strong communication and collaboration among project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management. Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams throughout the project lifecycle. Manage project execution, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to project milestones. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively. Establish and maintain clear and effective communication channels with all stakeholders. Manage vendor relationships and ensure successful integration of third-party contributions. Conduct regular project status meetings and prepare detailed project reports for management. Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations. Facilitate lessons learned sessions and contribute to continuous improvement of project management methodologies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; PMP or equivalent certification is strongly preferred. 7+ years of experience in project management, with a significant focus on technology and software development projects. Proven track record of successfully managing multiple complex projects simultaneously. Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project). Strong risk management and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to manage budgets and control project costs effectively. Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to influence and manage stakeholder expectations.
