Our client, a well-known global consumer brand, is looking for a Project Manager to join their Legal Operations team on a 12-month contract.
This role is ideal for someone highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders across a global business. This is not a legal advisory role. The focus is on project delivery, stakeholder coordination, governance, documentation, and execution within a legal operations environment.
About the Role
Reporting to the Manager, Legal Operations Program, the Project Manager will own and drive a large-scale global legal project from start to finish. This person will act as the central point of contact across legal, legal operations, and cross-functional business teams.
The role requires someone who can bring structure, keep stakeholders aligned, manage timelines, track risks, and ensure action items move forward.

Key Responsibilities
Own and drive delivery of a large-scale global legal project
Build and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, and ownership
Coordinate with legal, legal operations, and cross-functional stakeholders
Facilitate project meetings, document decisions, and follow up on action items
Identify risks, bottlenecks, and change impacts early
Maintain clear and organized project documentation
Provide regular updates to stakeholders and escalate blockers when needed
Support a global working model, including occasional later afternoon/evening meetings for time zone overlap
Ensure the project remains aligned with relevant legal, regulatory, and internal requirements
Qualifications
3+ years of project management experience
Experience in a corporate, legal, compliance, governance, or operations environment preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Legal Studies, or a related field preferred
PMP, Scrum, or related certification considered an asset
Strong project planning, stakeholder management, and communication skills
Experience managing timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and documentation
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
Strong judgment, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
Ideal Background
The ideal candidate may come from legal operations, corporate operations, PMO, business transformation, compliance, governance, or project management.
Experience working with legal stakeholders is an asset, but this role is primarily focused on project execution and stakeholder alignment rather than legal advisory work.
