Senior Bridge Project Manager

The construction manager is responsible for all work carriedout by various divisions (including subcontractors) in accordance withcontractual specifications and carried out in a safe manner in accordance with

Singapore law and regulations. Construction manager will report directly to the project manager.

Key task/ responsibilities:

• Responsible for the safe execution of the project within the pre-determined timeframe and budget, whilst maintaining an effective client relationship.

• Setting up and maintaining effective project organization, preparing the work and optimizing work processes, so that project activities are carried out in an efficient, timely and safe manner.

• Responsibility for the work budget and establishing an effective approach to controlling cost and ensure accurate and timely cost, schedule and resource forecasting, as well as reporting to the project manager.

• Plan workforce needs and allocates the right resources to the project. Manage, motivate, coach team members and stimulatecontinuously development. Leading the project team to achieve optimal andcreative team performance.

• Building, maintaining, and promoting good relationship, and consulting with client.

• Responsible for working in compliance with the relevant SHE-Q policies and ensuring continuous improvement.

Education/ certificates:

• Minimum Higher Professional Education Level

• Relevant certifications and training for Safety, construction works and Quality management.

Experience:

• 10-15 years of experience working as a construction manager. Controlling interfaces of different divisions (Civil, M&E, Dry work, Dredging, Revetment work, Road work and all logistic arrangements)

• Proven track record in managing international operating teams.

Other requirements:

• Good command of English (written and spoken)

• Good people management skills

• Knowledge of project, finance, contract and risk management.

• Good knowledge of safety regulations in Singapore.
