As the Head – Project Management, you will provide strategic oversight and operational leadership for multiple concurrent programs involving cross-functional engineering teams. You will be responsible for program governance, stakeholder alignment, risk mitigation, resource optimization, and on-time delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
This role requires a hands-on leader who can operate at both strategic and execution levels, driving collaboration between Software, Electrical, Mechanical, and RF teams to ensure seamless integration and successful product development lifecycles.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee multi-disciplinary programs spanning Software, Electrical, Mechanical, and RF engineering domains.
- Define and implement robust project management frameworks, governance models, and best practices.
- Drive program planning, budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation to ensure optimal utilization.
- Establish clear milestones, KPIs, and performance metrics to track project health and delivery outcomes.
- Manage risks, dependencies, and cross-functional challenges with proactive mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align project portfolios with business strategy and growth objectives.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Lead large cross-functional teams, fostering accountability, collaboration, and high-performance culture.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in project execution methodologies and operational efficiency.
- Interface with customers, vendors, and strategic partners to ensure successful program delivery.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Robust expertise in Project Leadership and Multi-Disciplinary Program Management across Software, Electrical, Mechanical, and RF domains.
- Extensive experience in enterprise-level project planning, execution, and governance.
- Proven ability to manage large budgets and multi-million-dollar programs.
- Strong understanding of system integration, product lifecycle management, and engineering workflows.
- Expertise in risk management, stakeholder communication, and change management.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid models).
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience with project management tools and enterprise planning systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, RF, Computer Science) or related field.
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
