Project Manager Lead (Chandigarh)

Job Overview
We’re looking for a Project Manager Lead to oversee the project management team and drive successful completion of multiple solar projects. This role combines hands-on project oversight with leadership responsibilities, ensuring the team delivers on time, within scope, and at the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is an experienced project manager with a knack for leading others, streamlining processes, and solving problems before they become delays.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support the project management team to ensure consistent performance and professional growth
• Oversee all phases of solar projects, including permitting, interconnection, PTO, and overall project workflows
• Develop and enforce standardized processes and best practices for the project lifecycle
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality across multiple team-managed projects
• Serve as the escalation point for complex or high-priority project issues
• Coordinate with internal departments, subcontractors, and customers to ensure seamless communication
• Review project documentation for accuracy and compliance
• Track team performance metrics and provide regular status reports to leadership

Proven experience in project management (solar or construction preferred but not required)

Previous leadership or team lead experience strongly preferred

Exceptional organizational and time management skills

Strong leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution abilities

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced workplace

Excellent communication skills and problem-solving mindset

Familiarity with permitting or utility processes is a plus

Proficiency in project tracking tools and standard office software
