Job Title - Senior Project Controls & Commercial Manager

Department Operations - Projects

Reports To - Head of Projects / Chief Operating Officer

Employment Type - Full time, Remote

Location - Remote; projects primarily outside Kenya

ERP System - Info-Suite

Experience Required - 10 – 15 Years in Infrastructure Project Controls

Travel - Virtual site engagement via digital tools; no mandatory in-person travel

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Essential

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, Finance, Project Management, or a related field.

• 10 – 15 years of progressive experience in project controls and/or commercial management on large-

scale power infrastructure projects that are multi-disciplinary ie. Electrical, Civil, Instrumentation and Mechanical.

• Demonstrated experience working on cross-border African projects — particularly in East and

Southern Africa.

• Hands-on experience with Info-Suite ERP or comparable construction ERP platforms (Sage 300 CRE, Viewpoint, Oracle Projects, JD Edwards).

• Solid command of earned value management, cost-to-complete forecasting, and progress

measurement techniques.

• Proven ability to work effectively in a fully remote workplace, managing multiple projects

simultaneously.

• Experience interfacing with tax advisors and finance teams on in-country tax compliance and fund repatriation.
